I am 17 years old and I got a part time after school job at a discount store. The last time i was at work was on Tuesday and this guy came in a gave me a fake 20. I never saw a fake bill before so i checked it with the pen and I was holding the mans change in my hand. Before I could look at the bill, the man just grabbed his change and his bag and ran out of the store. I was wondering why he did that and then noticed that the bill was fake after about 2 min after the guy left. I showed it to my boss, thinking it was the right thing to do, and he yelled at me in front of everyone. I have been working there since august and he never yelled at me. I started like tearing up because he yelled at me in front of all my friends and co workers and i was totally humiliated. Later my boss came over and apologized, saying that he felt bad cause he went off on me. I accept it apology, but now i still feel totally embarresed to go back to work. How should I handle it?

Try to let it go... keep reminding yourself that you only think about it so much because it happened to you, but other people have either already forgotten the incident or just think your boss is a jerk... not you. It wasn't your fault, so you have no reason to be ashamed.

Retailers have to deal with this sort of thing.
Your boss is every bit as much embarrassed as you are... and he carries the burden of being the boss. In fact, going off on you like that out on the sales floor is a violation of both labor laws and corporate policy. He can be in trouble.
He apologized.
Let it go. Just go back in to work like nothing happened.

Now that you know you have counterfeiter in the neighborhood, you have to take time out to hold the money up to the light and look for that magnetic strip.
The store surveillance cameras should have caught the guy on tape to go along with the counterfeit $20. All this can be handled by the police.

try to let it go. it wasn't right for him to yell at u in front of everyone but at the same time, he was probably under a lot of pressure considering the time of year. if u feel like u can get over it, start looking for another job.

Find another job. Your boss has a lot to learn about managing people.

The new American thing to do is go to work and shoot your boss and a few coworkers. Or you can quit and get a job somewhere else.
