Coleman queen, Soft suede top, tried scotch tape and duct tape. won't stay long. need more permanent solution.

go to the camping section and buy a matress repair kit the apoxy sticks and holds very well

I may not have the best answer just a suggestion:
Go to model or craft stores & explain the fabric. You definitely need the right kind of glue and the patch.

Two things. Keep things that cut mattresses out of the bed and then buy a new mattress.

i've had that problem before and tried many very good products. unfortunately none of them will work on a slice larger than about a half inch and even that is iffy. if you decide to try it anyway, try a product called GOOP. that's your best shot. good luck.

Any camping supply store or Wal-Mart has patches made for them.
