i think people are taking this question a bit wrong - its not a case of there being a situation where its necessary in real life - its something to equate how much you really love someone to
and yes, i know that i really love someone because i would be willing to have a limb amputated, eat my own eyeball, let bugs crawl all over me, eat poo and do a whole range of painful or disgusting things to be with them or to make them happy.
it isnt sensible, it isnt rational, its love
hope someday youll all feel that way and have someone who feels that way about you

So for no good medical reason you want me to have a limb amputated....no way...and I do really love someone, but she would not expect me to do that, nor would there be any reason for it to happen.

Not since that drunken evening when I amputated my left leg to satisfy your perverted desires and only after cauterizing the stump, remembering that neither of us was gay, so it was all a waste of time. save money on socks though.

I think you would enjoy me and my best friend's invented game, 'would you...' lol it can be as sick or as dirty as you want but she asked me a really interesting one today- "would you...exchange 2 fingers to save my big toe?" I said I would cos she needs it to balance. Don't need fingers to do this. but yes with this game instead of saying "for £1000000" etc it's "for my life...then arm...then finger" sorry its a cool and debatable game to play if you are really bored :P have fun! lol :D
