he told me what it was and i got excited.
he said it was a Brighton watch...
and from what i know they are fairly expensive.... but he started describing it more and he said it didnt say brighton on it anywhere....it said Geneva...
He said he paid 105 dollars for it....
i searched for Brighton watches and that was their price. but when i searched for Geneva watches they were consideably cheaper.
the most Pricey one was 45 dollars.

Im concerned that my boyfriend got ripped off.
How do i tell him without him getting upset?
or should i not tell him at all?
im sure i will love the present either way but it bothers me that someone may have taken advantage of him :(
HELP!!

If I were you, I would try to find out where he got it and see if there was a way to return to the store (try and see if he has a receipt). If he doesn't think it would be possible to return it, then I wouldn't mention to him that he might have been ripped off. Just smile and thank him.

Ask him where he got it and then go to that place and ask for yourself. Most likely he got ripped off because if it's a brighton watch then it shouldn't say geneva. Just make sure you're right before you tell your boyfriend because it might hurt his feelings. Good Luck.

If your happy with it then I would just let it go for now, enjoy the gift and your boyfriend for the holidays, all that other stuff can wait or be swept under the rug!!

It was his own fault. He should have bought it from a real dealer not off the streets. If he told you about it he prob already knows it's a fake. Trick's on you.

he SAID he paid 105 for it, I'll wager he didn't.
