Wisdom is : The sum of learning through the ages (Knowledge + Experience + Time = Wisdom)
Say: Greek Philosopher - Aristotle was very wise man
So if you have same characteristic as him than you are wise man -which brings as to :You Have A Wisdom
Some might argue that Wisdom is : good judgment
But I think that if you know the - knowledge of causes - then it's obvious that you can make good judgment.
In his Metaphysics, Aristotle defines wisdom as knowledge of causes: why things exist in a particular fashion.
Another thing I would like to "bend" to the Wisdom "formula" is Vision, Ability and Attitude.Ability is what you can do - Attitude determines how well you do it. If you "squeeze"some vision to ability and attitude than you are wise.
So, in my opinion Wisdom is: How well you judge based on : Knowledge + Experience + Time + Vision + Ability + Attitude. And I think this is a formula for success in life.

I honestly think that wisdom is what you have acquired from knowledge and experience. It's more than knowledge of something because with wisdom you actually have been put in that particular situation and you had to learn a first hand lesson. Strangely enough we as humans most of the time have to have wisdom instead of knowledge for one because we are hard headed and stubborn but because we have such curious minds that we find ourselves in that situation and in the end we either use our wisdom andknowledge to either do something usefull or useless. That is wisdom in my opinion.

"...the difference between knowledge and....wisdom" - dexter jester
As the statement above there is a distinct difference between, the two. Knowledge has i would see is information given to but not tested by yourself, example is when your a child and have been told not to touch the hot stove because you will burn yourself, another example is mostly everything you learn in school would be classified as knowledge. Now wisdom on the other had is information that you recieve through your own doing, meaning you now the stove is hot because you touch it. Its accumilated through out your exsistence as opposed to knowledge. if given a choice betwwen the two i feel that wisdom holds more weight.

Wisdom is the ability to convert knowledge into our conscience. It can be received from anthers experiences or you can personally gain this conversion of knowledge.
Computers, in-themselves, have more knowledge than we do. It is we (mankind) that takes the knowledged spread by computers (books, other people) and use it for a highter purpose.

Wisdom is knowing yourself, knowing what you want out of life to be happy, and knowing what courses of action will best preserve your happiness. That is wisdom.

It's what is going on when you don't react, but think about consequences and how you might feel in a situation if you had an external perspective and what you might have done to contribute to an unpleasant situation.
It's about how to improve situations, rather than how to fight about them.
