Considering she is writing a book about how to be a parent to celebrity children... um yah, I'd say she is a screw up.

I believe that it was a very poor choice on the part of Lynne because 16 is far too young to be "playing house". Just because she earns as an adult doesn't mean she is capable of making decisions like an adult, although she has now found herself in a position where she will have to grow up. Very sad.

Lynne Spears is NOT winning the Mommy-of-the-year award, thats for sure. Not only is her eldest having problems, now her younger daughter is screwed. she is just lucky her older sister is rich enough to spot her money for a house and all the baby stuff she is going to need. AT 16!!! who do these child stars think they are: adults? LOL obviously not.

now jamie will get her tv show pulled and disney will not want her to be a part of their network EVER!!! and they shouldn't. who in their right mind would want to have a child-based company sponsoring a 16 year old pregant girl as a role model for younger girls.

It's illegal in some states, and--in retrospect, not prudent. Especially if you've been home schooling your kids with abstinence only sex ed.

Too bad Lynne's book on parenting has been put on hold. I'd love to know her reasoning, if any.

Duh!

That Jamie Lynn is nothing but a slapper and a tart in my book.

She should be ashamed of herself.

Birth control is widely available and has been for many years.

What is that kid's excuse?!?

at 16 it is a little irresponsible- i am sure in hollywood life children mature much quicker and maybe she thought she could handle it- but what is wrong is to act all surprised to find her daughter is prego when she condone the relationship and let her live with him! and then to tell ok mag. that she was surprised because she is always home by curfew! ummm....yeah. and to think she was having a book on parenting published! she needs to change the title to "what not to do"

It should be no surprise that a stage mother would make bad parenting decisions. This woman essentially got rich off of her children. She didn't set boundaries because she was probably less of a mother to her children than a hanger-on enjoying the money her children were generating.

well, by a lot of peoples standards no.

The people I talk about let their 10 and 12 year olds get pregnant because of "live in boyfriends" or "spending the night with their bf"

by mine? I think all kids under the age of 16 should have to wear a chastity belt, because they don't know what they are getting themselves into.

Definitely, 16 is much too young, especially with a B/F who can't afford his own place. I wonder, was Lynne that anxious to have a grandchild.
