No because I never got what I wanted for X-mas anyway and what I did get my mother would come up with some excuse to "ground" me and take the thing away. Conveniently my gifts would be something my mother wanted like a stereo or camera; I'd get to use it that one day, get "grounded" and my gift taken away and never get back again. The only toys I ever got were from my grandparents but the minute we got home, my mother would take those away from me too and throw them out!

No. I have known what I was getting since I was like 7. I just seem to forget and then I am surprised again at Christmas.

Yes.....plenty of times. Although I'm not one to ruin a surprise, so most of the time I tried my hardest to have self control and no peeking.

Yes but my mother must have had a very good hiding place we never found any gifts until Christmas morning!

Yes. Guilty as charged. I did for a couple of years (my friend did it every year and convinced me to) . But then I realized I liked the surprise better so I stopped but I was still tempted like every year.

No, but we used to carefully open one of the sides of the gifts under the tree, and hope we could tell what it was from the side we saw... then we'd tape it back up....

Yep. I always knew where they hid them too. That's also how I knew there was no Santa Claus.
