We play this game at my grandma's every year (even the adults!) You'll need: -A group of at least 4 or 5 people (if you have more make more than one group) -Two decks of cards (for each group) -Small gifts (wrapped or unwrapped and make sure there is enough for everyone) How to play: Everyone sits in a circle and you put the gifts in the middle. Deal out one deck of cards (evenly) to the players. The dealer draws cards from the other deck and if a player has the matching card they get to pick a gift from the middle. Then they hide it behind their back. Then you pick another card and another card and so on until the gifts have all been picked. After that, you keep drawing and if your card matches you have to remember who has what behind their back. For example if you want the teddy bear you have to remember who's hiding it. If you get it right, you get to hide the gift. If you get it wrong you don't get anything. You keep playing until all the cards run out. Things get switched back and forth and you have to keep an eye out and remember who's got what..it can get crazy but it's alot of fun :-) It's alot of fun trying to watch people remember who has what (especially old people!). And if it's adults playing it's fun because some people end up with tons of gifts and others don't get any...but if you have kids playing you want to make sure there are enough gifts for everyone and that everyone gets at least one.

We had the same thing...and I stumbled across a little online game that they will love...www.sweetgingerbread.com

The game let's them build their own gingerbread house. They'll play for hours...believe me!

You might do a competition of your own...who can build the best house.
