The Blackberry is mainly used by corporate customers, it's primary purpose is for email, you can read, reply, forward messages and open some attachments. As for the costs they vary according to the plan you take out but having your email delivered to you wherever you are can be very beneficial........and a pain in the backside sometimes too. It also has the ability to make and receive calls but again the costs associated with it depend on the plan you take out.

If you get stuck don't hesitate to give me a shout.

The only additional cost is the data plan. The data is used to perform the host of features the Blackberry has to offer. On mine, my data plan allows me to browse the internet, go on AIM, go on google maps, receive e-mails, and use an RSS reader. And I'm a college student, not a corporate executive.

Mine is a work phone and it integrates with my corporate email. I cant say anything other than that its anything special. I dont have a camera or anything so I would say email is the number one thing.
