Just curious. I'm only 24, but sometimes think I'll never marry because I just meet all the wrong guys. So where did you meet your spouse, and how long have you been married? Also, how long did you date before marrying?

We met in a chat room on April 15th, 2001.
Met in person November 2nd, 2001.
Married January 3rd, 2002.
So next month we celebrate our 6th anniversary and we were together for about 8 months or so before we got married.

Well your still young honey, so give it some time. don't rush life because before you know it, it will be over with. i am engaged right now and we have been together close to two years and have been engaged only one year. he's a slow mover. ( : I actually met him online but it was not intentional trust me! i was always the one talking about how crazy all those other women were for dating online. However we did go to the same school and i knew people he knew so it wasn't like he was some stranger from another state. I always use to say i wanted to meet a guy in church but i did one time and he was the worst one of all so i don't really think it matters where you meet them, it's the quality of the man. The guy i met online turned out to be the good guy. Someone will come your way but let them find you. Don't go out looking because then you will always find the wrong one. Good luck girly!

I met my husband through the online personals; we dated for 3 months, then lived together for a year and a half before getting married. We've been married for just over a year.

Met my husband at a party that my boyfriend at the time took me to. He went off with his mates and i got chatting to a guy who i later married after we dated for about 2 years.
We've been together almost 21 years now.

My husband and I met when we were kids, my mom used to babysit his brother, sister, and him. He moved to a different city when he was 13 and saw each other again on MySpace when he was in Iraq. When he came back we started talking and dating. He said he had always loved me since we were kids, we got married and been married for 5 months.

kind of at work, I worked for an international comp
we talk on the phone for 4 years before actually meet and the day he meet me I just kind of told him off because I was busy but he just sit in my office without saying a word just looking at me, my only word to him was at 5 pm to ask him where did he want me to drop him off
he say at his hotel the next day he skip his meeting to sit in my office again and did the same thing this time at 2 he asked me if I know of a fabric store to take him I took him to one and he ask me to help him choose curtains /upholster fabric because he want to redo his house I was not too happy but it was a reason to get out of the office for the afternoon
so here I was shoosing fabric until I heard him told the sale woman that he will take wath ever I choose because we will be married soon, I kind of was not happy about it because he is after all from a different world and poor me just wanted to be left in peace I have 3 children and was divorce so I just presume it was a joke
well he keep on returning to the US until I agree to go out with him and now we have been married for 3 years and my children are very happy living on a French Island

I meet my fiance by mistake my girlfriend and I were talk and she wanted a cig. she didn't like my brand,so she saw a construction worker on break and ask me to ask what brand of cig. he smoke. That was 15 month ago and we are getting married the summer 08. He turn out to be a great,sweet loving man.My advise mr right will come it's up to you pick him.

I moved in with him June 2003
and we hopefully will be getting married in the next year or so.
