No they dont, but there's another show called "IR: Cold Case Files" or something like that, and they show REAL cases and talk to witnesses and victim, etc.

No! It's not even close. Have you ever noticed how they take turns, spouting off their spiel? That never ever happens in a Police Department. They have 4 people assigned to a case; a weird-azz blond woman who acts very, very strange with her posturing . . . And two fat guys and one other guy who is never asked the blond out or anything but everyone is wondering why. Is he as they say in Hollywood, "Gay?" ... Ha! I wonder. Anyway, Cold Case is just a fictitious pile of garbage and there aren't that many cold cases in the world . . . Much less, Philadelphia. It sucks.

I don't personally know but this girl came to our school before and said they are very unlike the real investigations in that those cases would be extremely easy to solve

Yes it does actually, one episode they did was based on a case about a missing woman from the town I live in.

YES, they do...I really enjoy watching them...I only know about them because there was one once that was from my area..and everything was accurate...
I love the show.!!
