I am only in the mood when he is not home and I really want sex with him but when the time is right he is finally home, I have 10 other things on my mind and sex is the last thing I want to do and I have no interest anymore/

We have sex about 3 x week -so no therapy is needed I don't think - but I have a really really strong lovemaking desire with him during the day and evenings it has diminished to just plain sex.

It probably has to do with that fact that you cant have it so you want it more. Its like when you have your hands full and cant scratch an itch, it makes it that much worse. Sometimes couples just are not in sink with each other and that means sometimes doing it when you might not be completely in the mood. Have you thought of going to your husbands work when you are in the mood and surprise him with an afternoon quickie? Good luck!

well I have the same problem at times and I think the problem is that when he's gone you want him and you still want him when he comes home but by the time the end of the day comes you have so much to do to get ready for the next day that the urge for loving has disappeared especially if you have children because I know once I finish cooking and feeding I am ready to sleep.

Maybe the reality of the routine is not appealing to you. Same thing, day after day, kinda like a bad movie being played over and over. Reality is you love him and he loves you. Usually a getaway or romantic night, breaking all the monotony and routine, will spark that thing you think about and bring sexy back!

I use to do that but its a woman thing I guess cause my mom is the same way. Just dig deep down inside and find time for him. Maybe the mood isnt right.

Could be that your peak sexual desires are during those hours when he's working- I used to peak at 3 in the afternoon-weird but it happens-not everyone has desire in the evening

it sounds to me like when your husband is not home and you are in the mood you are using manual stimulation or use of toys to satisfy your needs when he is not at home, Once he is home, you have already had that need met and you no longer have that intense desire to be with him because you already met that need.

i haven't a clue, hon.
have you at least TRIED to get into sex, when you're "not in the mood"? maybe give that a shot?

i do that with mine sometimes. i don't think there's really anything wrong with it. It's just that you just so happen to be in the mood at the wrong times. it sux i know but i don't really know what you could do about it.
