I would hope I am with a couple or three of my favorite Senior ladies getting plastered and having fun!

In 2012 I will be 64, so in any event I want to be prepared, if it happens, or if it doesn't happen. Best of both choices!!

Well Wally, I have good news or it could be bad news. Lets see how you take it. Nothing, outside of the usual events will take place that day. Our solar system will cross the plain of our galaxy the way it has done thousands of times in the past. Nothing will change. The Mayan calendar ends, but not the human race. The sun will reach its peak of solar activity the way it does every 11 years like clock work.
The earths magnetic poles won't change because that is still a few hundred years off and you or I won't be here that long anyway. Just enjoy the night sky on Dec 12, 2012. I'll be sipping wine and hopefully not shoveling snow.

Why Wally I do believe you are flirting...( with a couple or three
of my lady friends someplace getting plastered) Lol Now I'm pretty certain that there are a few ladies ahead of me in your 'friendship' line so could you make it more than three and invite me? I'll be 70 then (OMG!!!!!!!) and about ready for a toyboy of 64. You are such a dear and I'm so glad we are friends hon.

I saw a cartoon of a Mayan man working on the calendar. The chief asked why it ended in 2012 and the man said he ran out of stone.

I'll live each day the way I always do. Come what may.

I can officially retire in May of 2012...earlier if I hit the lottery.I hope I am riding my Harley or spending some time with Wally and the other two ladies.

I'll be 60, and if my husband gets his way, we'll both be retired, living in our home on top of a big hill in the Ozarks, sleeping, reading, making love, gardening, visiting kids and grandkids, and rocking the babies at the hospital. Well, that's what I'd like to do; can't really see the mister doing that....

How many times in history have people predicted the world
was going to end on a certain date? Well, it didn't. It's like the Y2K thing. It didn't end then either. The Mayan calendar says it will end in 2012. Who knows? I'll probably be with family
and friends whether it ends or not.

Let's see, I'll be almost 70...My Lawd! Well, I'll be somewhere near where I live now, if not in the same place....if the world is really going to end then I'll probably be with my kids and grands and on the phone with my friends....

That is waaaayyy too soon for life as I know it to end, so I will believe it ain't gonna be! I still have lands to visit; people to meet; new tastes to savor and love to be made! lol

Edit: I wanna be Dawn G! LOL

Let's see ... I'll be 62 that year, eligible for social security and finally able to retire ... just my luck! Yup, the world is going to end for sure! Guess I'll be working when the world ends.

Well, the world may end in 2012 for some people.

In my universe, it will still be clicking along...

Just because the Mayan calendar ends doesn't mean everything else does.....

HAHA!
