Before I bought my own computer I shared one with my father and I bought a game, Fish Tycoon, off of the internet. So i don't have a disk or anything. But how do i go about moving it from his computer to mine?

Without the installer, that's tough, since you'll never find all the funny registry files it installed.

It is not possible to move the installed games from one pc to another pc unless we have the installation disk, if u have the installation disk then you can install in your own pc, else it is not possible. The reason why it isnt possible is once the games and application has been install it can be accessed only by that system, if the game has the feature of multiple or lan facilities means try it..

You'll want to find the .exe file (executable). Usually, an installed game will create a folder in your Program Files. Check in your C: drive, in the Program Files folder. I would copy the entire folder to an external hard drive, or a disk, and save it to the new computer.

If this game/program is "installed" and you did not keep a copy of the installation file, then you are stuck. Programs can't be transfered from one computer to another.

In the future, when you download a program, keep a copy of what you downloaded.

There will be some kind of licence somewhere, whether it's in the registry or Program Files or elsewhere. All software is different so I'd suggest you contact the manufacturer.
