When a celebrity does something stupid, why does it seem as though?

it will affect the fans in some meaningful way? I mean, Jeesh, who gives a hoot who got pregnant or arrested for something?

Im sooooo with u on that! They spent 2 days waiting for Paris to come out of the jail! Who frickin cares????? And do we really care that Brittneys sis is pregnant? I dont! Teen pregnancy is so high in the USA it isnt even funny anymore! She is nothing special- just another pregnant teen! And do I really- really care what kind of panties Brittney is wearing? NOPE I dont!!!!! I dont know why people idolize everything they do- even when its something stupid and meaningless but they do! They r living in their little fantasy world I guess! as far back as I can remember fans have swooned when singers sang, bands played, hollywood stars got awards. Something about having money and fame attracts people. These days though since the economy has been very good for many years and young people have gotten all they wished for including high cost tickets to see singers, bands and stars, the younger group of people (usually female) have not only seen the shows but also started fan clubs and got interested in the lives of the stars and made the stars their heroes and heroines and role models. It's very sad that young people think these so-called role models have morals and clout when in fact those so-called role models are in and out of jail, are drunk, on drugs, with many divorces and fast marriages and divorces and to all kinds of unsavory persons, and involves paparatsi and guns, etc. etc. I believe if the generations were taught better morals, close to church and family they wouldn't see those stars as role models. Why have their families failed them?

No arguement from me on this one. I can't stand the garbage on TV and the Tabloids and have a hard time giving a rat's patootie!
