Most of east Africa is tropical and so will not have four definable seasons. The local people will have their traditional seasons which could range from two to eight. They do in northern Australia and I see no reason for east Africa to be different. Most people of European descent would talk of two seasons, the dry and the rainy seasons. You might hear of the build-up which is the pre-rainy season where showers and thunderstorms become more common.
