Hi,
For this problem, we need to distribute the negative 1 over the factor 5 - 2i to get:
8 + 2i - 5 + 2i
Next combine like terms that have something in common. For example, we can add 2i + 2i to get 4i and 8 + -5 to get 3.
Therefore, we get:
FINAL ANSWER: 3 + 4i
I hope that helps you out! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,
Andrew
