Most of my dreams are weirder than a sci-fi movie...so I'd have to say no.
I live my life according to the circumstances around me and what I hope/want to get out of life in general...my (nighttime) dreams have nothing to do with it (and I rarely remember them anyway).

dreams are (to an extent) our unconscious thoughts and desires - so yes, you should live what you dream. only catch is that the dream isn't really literal. try figuring out the meaning behind them. for instance, i have this one dream where i'm being chased and i try to fly but i can't take off. it means that i feel trapped. so no, i shouldn't literally try to fly in real life. but maybe take special notice of what's making me feel trapped in my life and trying to work on it.
