When you buy a mercedes do you trade in your driving licence for a special one that lets you drive however you want, and excuses you for cutting up other road users and pulling up anywhere you want?

Please note, i am not some jealous person driving a clapped out old banger, just a frustrated driver that is sick of the mercedes brigade, its a constant annoyance every morning going to work.

Im not tarnishing all mercedes drivers with the same brush. Just the idiots that insist on flooring it past you (because they can) and slowing right down once infront whilst on the mobile phone (most of the time).

Please guys, we know your car is expensive and compensates for other things, so why do you have to drive like a bunch of d***s. I pay my road tax too!!!! ARGHHH.

You are absoluteley right not to accuse all Merc drivers of thinking that they own the road.

In reality it's BMW drivers who actually DO Own The Road. They get a free mile of it why they buy their car. And I am including all BMW drivers.

You really are some sort of plum

By your calculation and reasoning almost every one should be in this catagory. Principally if the DSA and the government did something about the appaling driving standard in this country then questions like this would never arise

Most new drivers pay out a lot of hard earned money getting through the test and then vast amounts more on a car and insurance and the even more on modifying the thing but many and not all seem to dispence with the training and drive just how they like and that can be very badly

So before knocking any given group why not look at others and yourself to see if you are justified in making this rash statement

Have a nice Christmas

I think that you have got that slightly wrong there in singling out a particular set of drivers, i drive a merc (co car not mine) and still drive as i did when i was driving my clapped out cavalier, what your experiancing is the general lowering of standards across driving in general i frequently get mondeo, bmw, and volvoe drivers who behave far worse

LOL And BMW drivers are even worse! I pray for the day I get hit by one of them cause my *** will be driving a bentley when I do. Why is that most minivan drivers (not all) are ALWAYS in a rush. Is getting to soccer practice that serious? lol

If you think JUST mercedes drivers are bad where you live, you got it good. I live in NYC and we all drive like idiots. I mellowed out a lot but I have to admit I was a nut!

Good Luck in your city.

Given the current reliability record of Mercedes cars, wouldn't it be more appropriate to ask whether or not they had first dibs on the hard shoulder?

we have a mercedes and we're definitley not snooty or inconsiderate of other people, i grew up on a council estate so i definitley appreciate things around me. i can understand why you're angry though there are alot of them who think they're better than everyone else cause they can afford a nice car.

It's as if they take training in holding their nose as far in the air as they can too! Wonder if they can see where they're going!

And I drive either a corvette or a big SUV, so I'm certainly not jealous!

They're usually owned by men with fragile egos, who've made a bob or two. Noveau Riche, plenty to spend, not much to think with.
