I love it all, to be honest....it is very hard to just pick one thing. Christmas Eve is certainly a day when my "inner child" comes out to play....I love the anticipation of the next day. As I have mentioned before, I always love listening to the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from King's College, Cambridge on the radio on the afternoon of Christmas Eve....I think that is where the excitement really starts...and everything else follows on from that.

When the kids were home it was watching Christmas movies with cocoa and popcorn then I loved arranging gifts under the tree. Now it's getting under the comforter with hubby and watching old movies.

My fav is each and every of the smells and songs, and then on the relatively day, i savour being in a warmth abode on a cold day outdoors, and the scent of christmas morning... it quite is like no longer something i've got have been given ever smelt in the previous whilst i flow outdoors.... crisp, clean, and with a touch of cinammon.

Holiday atmosphere and being with family are most important. Gifts add to it but are not as important as those two things to me - but they certainly don't hurt :)
