There is nothing to think about, she just is. And of course it's her fault. No one likes to take responsibility.

I think that life for any teenage mother will be hard. Planned or unplanned/married, dating or single/supportive parents or unsupportive parents etc. she's going to miss out on a carefree lifestyle in her 20s and from now on her life will revolve around that child.
I don't think she's a bad person. What she did wasn't clever, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out contraception, but mistakes happen...the condom could have burst or whatever. I think that what makes a person bad is showing no regard for others...hurting people intentionally...and she hasn't done that. However, she is a public figure and a role model to many young girls so she had a responsibility to them and that's a shame.
I don't think it's not her fault...she let her boyfriend do that and probably wasn't using contraception...this is what happens. However, I do think that Lynne's parenting skills need to be questionned. I think that both Britney and Jamie Lynne entered showbiz too young and that their actions now may well be due to that. We don't hear about their brother messing up, and their brother wasn't pushed into the spotlight as a child. Everyone knows that Lynne was pushy and I think that her daughters have been exposed to a lot. Jamie Lynne's boyfriend isn't famous, so maybe she saw him as an escape from that lifestyle and one thing led to another.
Other thoughts...on the one hand I hope that she'll continue to be honest about her experience as a teenage mother. I hope she gives the clear message that it's not easy. It's not all about buying cute booties and going for walks with the pram...it's about being up at 4am, covered in baby sick with a wailing baby and nearly in tears yourself because you're so tired and you can't settle your baby and you're still in pain. On the other hand, I think her experience of teenage parenthood will be very different to most teens'. She'll be able to afford nannies, a home tutor etc. so I don't expect she'll have it nearly as tough as most young mums.

She's young and comes from a dysfunctional family so I'm not going to be too hard on her. That being said, I think the responsible thing for her and the baby's father to do would be togive up the baby for adoption.

Now I know that's not going to happen and I'll probably get some thumbs down for even suggesting it. But I'm afraid that this baby will be part of the media circus that has surrounded Britney's boys from the day they were born. If the child was placed with a loving, responsible couple out of the Hollywood limelight, he/she would have a better chance for a normal life.

Getting preggo doesn't make her a bad person.
But it is her fault. She didn't just trip and end up preggo.

But she is no roll model and should be taken off the air. My wife is a social worker and she works with many poor families. And they see so many teens going pregnant that even the younger (14, 15, 16 year olds) are looking forward to getting pregnant (instead of looking forward to graduation, etc.).

It really makes the young (and confused) kids think teen pregnancy is AVERAGE. BAD message.

Good Luck

I think it is sad
She will loss her tv show now and probbaly struggle in her career. I had hope for her and now I am disappointed.

I think that whole family is messed up, which probably lead to this but I realize that she should have taken care of herself better. I think the mother and father should have never let her live with her 19 year old boyfriend. Or if Jaime really wanted to have sex that she should have used protection

That apple sure didn't fall far from the tree.

No, she is not a bad person.
Yes, it is her fault. Even at the tender young age of 16, she knows how babies are made and where they come from.
I think she is a lot like her sister, very short on common sense and responsibility.

No, it's definitely her fault. She is worse than her sister. At least her sister was married when she was pregnant. She is a bad influence especially since she has that show that little kids watch. The Spears family is going down the drain...

A kid having a kid, no I don't believe she is a bad person and yes it is her fault, she has all the money in the world to buy protection. I feel sad for her, but hey that must have been what she wanted.

I'm glad she's keeping the child, Nick should fire her ***. I think the fact that she owned up to it shows she's ok (but her fierce attack on a tabliod that found out isn't great but understandable) Of course its her fault, its also the fault of the guy she slept with, condoms were made for a reason.
