LOL, I practically lived in a canoe for a week in the boundary waters of Canada a few years ago. That was one of the best times I have ever had on vacation.

Yes --- When I was 25, I went on a retreat and three of us were assigned to one canoe. I had a great time. (Next time I will remember the sub block) I did get a little burned.

Yes. But ensure you can hold your breath and do an Eskimo roll should it capsize. Ability to swim is a good safety requirement. Always wear a life-jacket even though you can swim.
