I HAVE OVER 24 TATTOOS and when my kids started wanting them i ask that they wait till they turned 18 ,,,, i didnt want them to get a tattoo till they were older so they wouldn't make the common mistake kids do ,,,, that is pick something ether childish or vulgar

I have 2, and I want another that means something about family.
And I think it would be so awesome if my parents got one too with me.
My mom says "if I wanted one, I would have got one when I was young!"
I have never asked my dad though, lol.
My Grandma said she would!!! Butttttttt - she thinks she's too old now.
Lol, crap.
I'd get a tattoo with my kid!

No way. My parents are totally against tats. Me and all 5 of my siblings have them and my Mom rags on us on all the time about them. My dad doesn't say anything. He just gives us the dad frown.
It's cool though. :-)

I got one and showed my mom after it was healed up. She thinks I'm stupid and going to hell. My dad doesn't really care either way. But I got it anyway. I figured I"m the one that has to live with it.

I don't think either one of them would. My mom would come with me, especially cuz the next tattoos I get will be of some of her drawings...(Lion overtaking a dragon, and then a Lion with cubs feasting on the flesh of the dragon...both of them have deep spiritual significance to me)...but she wouldn't GET a tattoo. She won't even dye her hair, and it took me 11 years to convince her to get her hair cut professionally.

well i asked my mom to get one with me about 3 years ago but she wasnt sure what she wanted when i went....but she would be down to come with me......

My son and I got one together. His is on his back, mine is on the back of my neck. When my 14 yr old daughter is ready for one and asked me to go with her, I would totally go!
