I think the name Quinn sounds great for either a boy or a girl. I have seen this name for both genders before.

The only real-life person I knew with that name had it for a last name. On TV, it seems to fit both genders--there was Quinn Mallory from that sci-fi show Sliders, and it fit him well, and the science girl from Zoey 101 is Quinn and it fits her too.
So I guess it really doesn't matter. With unusual names it often doesn't.

I think he watch too many Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman reruns. But I do prefer it to be a girl. Just call her Quinney.
