with our senior account executive and has been for months. Well aparently she is in the middle of a divorce due to the affair but my bosses wife just found out monday and told all the employees. I have heard him talk to his wife about marriage counseling but still has this account executive in his office all the time and has been seen hugging her and kissing her in the parking lot...This is against company policy! I do not know what to do and this is making me sick! I feel sorry for his wife and 2 year old daughter...I mean I have been there. Not to mention he is being a jerk about the situation....like he will ask me how I am and then I ask how he is and he will say what the heck do you think or his wife will call and tell me to tell him to call and I give him the note he will make a ugh sound crumple the paper and slam it in the trash...and the account executive, I HAVE NEVER LIKED HER! 29 mother of 5 and is out every night getting smashed...she even acts a fool at customer functions

Ok morons... it isn't that this is effecting me personally at all!! I have my own crap to deal with. When I am at work...this is ALL it is about and it is ridiculous. I mean they have policies for a dang reason!!!!!! Not to mention his wife is in and out of here as well as his mistriss. I do not have all the details...I know what I have been told by his wife and everyone else that knows. As for staying professional...DUH I do, I do not even discuss this with my boss and I respect him because he is my boss although I would rather shove a stick where the sun doesn't shine. WHY THE HELL SHOULD I HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER JOB?! I LOVE MY JOB JUST NOT THE CHEATING BOSS!

I am not part of the situation in any way and it is my business just like every other employees business because THEY are making it our business by acting unprofessional in the work place!

If it's a violation of company policy, I think a word to the HR department would be in order.

Aside from that, stay the hell out of it - you do NOT want to be in the middle of that mess.

Go to your HR department, tell themn exactly what happened. If your boss is being smug and open about having an affair with your wife he is causing a "hostile work environment" which is affecting everyone's job, not just yours or his. Everyone in the office/work site is affected by this. If HR doesn't do anything, which is doubtful go to your bosses boss and do the same thing. No professional work place that I have ever worked at would tollerate this type of behavior. My last job someone was fired because they had an affair with a co-workers husband. She was fired for causing a hostile work environment and it was secretive, nothing like what your boss is doing.

Either you find another job or just ignore it, because it is not your business... It's between your boss, the senior account executive, and the boss's wife, so butt out, because it's nothing but drama and you don't want to put yourself in the middle of it.... Just don't be stressing yourself about this....

like the other bloggers have said you have to either but out of the situation & leave it be if it doesn't concern u directly or u need to find another job. simple as that. there have been relationships between upper management for years & u just found out about this. c'mon. there must be a motive for why u are bringing this up now. i say if its bothering u this much just leave. if u report it to hr words leak out & ur boss may be looking for a reason to fire u.

Tell your boss' boss that his behavior is affecting your work. It's really no one's business that he's having an affair but if he's making it blantantly public, then his boss probably already knows anyway. If enough people complain, they'll have to do something about it.

Secretly find a way to inform his wife. Take a pic, send it. Can you do it from inside when they are outside without them seeing you? You could just send her a letter, but her lawyer would appreciate tangible proof. Does your camera have a date stamp on it? Good luck. And while you are at it, you can use this to get that ***** out of your life. Send copies to your boss' boss. Merry Christmas!

Is the wife by chance part owner in the company? IF she is, you can send a note unsigned saying it's against office policy and you expect her to do something about it. Even fire the acct. exec.

If the company is big enough, go to the board of directors or send a letter

Why on earth are you letting someone else's life affect you emotionally? It's not YOUR affair or your business... and if it makes you sick, look the other way.

You can't control what your boss does, or who has an affair with whom.

Worry about your own life. If others want to make a mess of theirs, it's not a life-altering experience in YOURS...

Tell both him and his wife to stop involving you in their personal life as it puts you in an uncomfortable and awkward position and just stay out of it. This has nothing to do with you and keep it that way.

Well its not really of your business, because it seems like you just know all the details and stuff, but you should report this. It isn't right in the workplace.
