A gift that shows you put some thought and caring into it. Something that shows you having been paid attention to what I have said or done. It really shows you care when you do this, at least for me. A gift that has meaning to it does not need to be expensive and would be received more happily than some expensive item you ran into a store and just grabbed of the shelf.

That said...there are times for things like flowers and roses too..when you know it is a favorite flower or as a quick, I was thinking of you gift. I have had flowers sent to me from guys who knew I was having a bad day....and that put a smile on my face. :-)

Yes, just about anything other then just a single rose would mean more to me. One lousy rose? I mean come on. I guess if it were a first date I would find it charming but from a special someone? No cheap!

Yes, definetly. You need to spice up your idea of romance, buddy. And if you are going to stick with the rose idea, at least get her 12, not one.
