My mother in law had 4 in 1979, 1981, 1982, and 1992! So that was a long time ago. I would think that it is better today! I have heard 3 but that was long ago! Ask a doctor!

hey, c-sections are difficult to predict, just because you had one the first time doesnt mean you cant have a vaginal delivery with the next one, trust me it hurts less and you recover fromit a hell of alot faster, i have had both and i would take a 20 hour labour over a c-section anyday, but anyway, as far as im told the ideal number for limit is 3times, although its nto a restriction, it just gets more risky for you after that. hope this helps and good luck and also i am sorry for the loss of your first baby, i can relate to that. good luck again and all the best for the future.x

I know a lady who has had 4 kids that way. I think her doctor told her 5. And if you get a good doctor there is no reason you have to have another c-section. They can let you deliver naturally after a c-section.

I have had 3 c-sections with no complications. My doctor said that I could have as many as I choose to have. He said that one of his patients had 6 children all by c-section.

I knew one lady who had 4 c-sections, and another who had 3, but on 4th pregnancy her doctor recommended vaginal birth. She was successful.
