Are liberals in Yahoo really this ignorant of the facts or are they intentionally lying?

I read one question where it said the recent AMT bill was a tax break for the rich. Truth: The rich paid the AMT before the bill and will still have to pay it. The bill kept middle class Americans from entering the AMT.

I read that by opposing the SCHIP bill the republicans was keeping 6 million poor kids from medical care.
Truth: The bill called for another 660,000 poor kids to be added. 2 million kids who already have health care insurance would now be eligible.(WHY?) And 1 million 340 thousand would be adults up to the age of 25. Why is a childrens bill insuring adults?

I read that Americans are less safe because of Bush's policies.
Truth: We have not had another terrorist attack since 9/11. During the Clinton years we were attacked 6 times. And the only thing he did was kill one janitor in Afghanastan.

We had 2 embassies attacked, the US Cole,The first bombing of the world trade center and an attack against our envoys in Kenya.........count them that's six

Don't you know that in order to be a liberial you can not use your brain to the fullest. Less government is better. Can you name one successfull government program? All I hear is how people complain about government agencies and then they want more. Everything that the government tries to fix just screws it up more. What a failure is the War or Poverty. For the most part, Liberal politians want to control your whole life. They have been calling their constituents stupid for decades. They don't believe that you can better yourself without their help. To me that is very degrading. I don't need them to tell me how to spend my money, how to think and that I need to financially support everybody out there.

Smartsas... We were attacked many times under the Clinton administratin. Only once were we attacked on our soil. They attacked the World Trade Center. They have attacked our Embassies around the world. They have attacked the U.S.S. Cole. And Clinton did nothing. We are in this war because he did not do anything except sent our troops into Somalia which was a total failure.

I agree with you about SCHIP and the AMT tax (I have an idea, why don't we go to a flat tax and forget all this crap?).

However, I would have to question your assertion that America was attacked 6 times during the Clinton years.

Regardless, it's all just how you word it that makes it a loss or a victory for your party. Everyone is telling this type of lie.

Edit: So every American attacked on foreign soil counts? Then lets start with Afghanistan and keep going until we can't keep track anymore.

You put too much emphasis on the capabilities of the Liberal Collective Mind.
Liberals lack the common sense to understand that 9/11, was beyond Bush's control, as an entire 8 year period Clinton systematically gutted our military and intelligence community. The Libs lack the understanding of the intelligence gathering process and often cite that actual intelligence was collected testifying bin Laden's intent...and yet fail to realize that this cannot be deceminated without people...the same people Clinton fired.
As for the real issue, most people don't even know what the AMT is, let alone being able to formulate an actual argument fore or against it. You are absolutely correct in that this was SPECIFICALLY designed to prevent tax evasion...do you wanna know who fought the most against this?!! Not the rich..

My suggestion is to not worry yourself about the lame of mind. You can't convince them to open their eyes and use their brains. You can bring up history, but most people are concerned about what's happening NOW. At the moment we have a president who has proved time and time again that he does not have the country's best interest at heart. If you want to talk about people dying on Clinton's clock, why don't you mention the thousands of American troops and innocent Iraqi civilians who have lost their lives due to the war that is currently going on. We don't even see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Truth----FBIHQ denied FISA warrants requested by the field office that arrested the 20th 911 hijacker!
Truth if Bush had done his best to uphold his sworn duty the FBIHQ should have bent over backwards to get those FISA warrants instead of using every excuse to deny them!
