Along the lines of Blondie, Kim Wilde, Joan Jett? Upbeat rocky songs? I'm trying to make a playlist I can stomp along to on the way to college lol

Any ideas?
:)

One pretty definitive example of this would be Katrina & the Waves - "Walking on Sunshine". Although it's been played so often it pretty much makes me want to punch bunnies now.

Bonnie Tyler has some stuff that might fit your needs.

Joan Jett's old band, the Runaways, if you can find them. And, of course, Lita Ford who also used to be in the band ("Kiss Me Deadly" in particular).

Kim Carnes had some pretty good stuff.

Patty Smyth's classic track "The Warrior" belongs on your playlist.

Most of their 'hits' were annoying as heck, but the Bangles actually had some pretty good tracks - their version of "Going Down to Liverpool" is excellent.

You might also want to track down more obscure tracks by bands like T'Pau (a short lived Canadian pop group), or Lone Justice.

Lita Ford's song "kiss me deadly". That's definitely worthy of a playlist.
