Well, I plant it naturally. That is, I start it from seed and place it in the soil after all danger of spring frost is over. Chamomile is very easy and grow even if you just broadcast the seed across the soil. Chamomile is fool-proof.

Several varities exsist, roman, german, and blue from africa all come to mind. There is in my driveway here in Oregon a wild plant called pineappleweed that is identical if not more powerful in some ways, groes all over the USA.. Regular Chamomile grows wild in the places it is from although I wonder how many wild preserves there are in Greece, Italy, and N. Africa from where it came. Fun plant in the garden or great in a pot!!

Agree with Spt. I have two planters full of volunteer sprouts growing now from seed sewn this spring. They are tollerating the few recent frosts and about to bloom. Wonderful aroma.
