I suppose it depends upon how alcohol effects you? I'm sure it would be different for different people. You know, some people become loud and boisterous and some just want to sleep and some are happy silly and some are amorous. So if you are the type that feels amorous when imbibing in alcoholic beverages, then yes, maybe it does make the heart grow fonder. But only for the time the alcohol was affecting your system. I can only presume that once you wake up next to whom your heart grew fonder for and no longer where under the influence of Absinthe then, well, that might not be such a good thing! : )
However, they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I found this to be true when my boyfriend was a cross country truck driver. he's my husband now and has a great desk job and I still love him incredibly.

Yes absence does make the heart grow fonder because you start to realize how much you miss the person.

When you take your Absinthe journey into the decadent realm..... you will see visions of the " Fée Verte" (Green Fairy).
Cheers!
