I know a girl who does not believe in religion. She calls the bible a "book of fables". This is her choice, but she makes it a point to tell eveyone she meets how stupid they are for believeing in God. I realize she is entilted to her opinion, but do you find this rude? I know I do.

I dont believe in god, but i dont force my opinion on people. it is rude to say someone is stupid for not agreeing with your beliefs. maybe there is a god, maybe there isnt

Yes i admit that i personally am not a great believer in God but i do always try my best to respect the opinions of others. I would like to know what age this girl is i'm 14 and i think pushing someone not to believe in God is the same as pushing them not to believe In the Buddha. Having no religion is the same as having a different religion and you should never interfere with anyones beliefs. Your friend should really be more respectful towards you. Tell her that you respect her thoughts but that ther is no need to be so blatently rude when expressing them

How about we pray that she get a "rude" awakening to the reality of the Bible? I'll pray right now as a matter of fact! If we don't do something about it, she could lead lots of people astray. Don't let that happen!

Yes it is rude. She is entitled to her opinion and she needs to realize that so is everyone else. I've known plenty of people who are like that and they don't change. They will always talk over you and tell you that you are wrong. It's annoying as anything!!

That is rude and so like a girl in her late teens and early twenties. I'm not religious myself but I would never do that to someone unless they were pushing me to join their religion.

I think for some things you should keep your opinion to yourself or even be open minded about what other people think and say not shoot them down. Shes probably doing that because she doesnt feel secure in her opinion and needs to make sure to one challenges her or maybe she wants to be challenged..
