For once i wish The Rolling Stones could prevail in this kind of poll. They deserve it, for one simple reason: real music is LIVE music. And playing live on stage Rolling Stones were by far better than Beatles (that overall were a great band). And after 45 years of career they still are "the greaetest rock'n'roll band of the world"!

I really don't understand the greatness of the Beatles, I can only think of one Beatles song I some what like, I like George Harrisons solo stuff but Beatles just don't do anything for me....Rolling Stones are goooooood though!

The Beatles are just better than the Rolling Stones. There's nothing anyone can do about it; just learn to live with it. Hope this doesn't you cry; I don't want to make a grown man cry.

Sorry man, but The Beatles are better... They stopped live performances because they were too many fans and their music couldn't be heard from that. Now the Rolling Stones didn't have that kind of action in their performances now did they?

The "great" Elvis (can't stand his songs) himself was scared of the Beatles. So it is Beatles forever:

I am not only a fan of the Beatles but I recognize what they meant to the world. Two GREAT things came out of England ROLLS-ROYCE and THE BEATLES not necessarily in that order, LOL !
