When the new head writer and executive producer for Young and the Restless is officially named after the indefinite firing of Lynn Marie Latham, what do you think his/her first order of business will be?
My thoughts are, (s)he will fire the rest of the writing team (especially Scott Hamner, whom I've learned has been conning viewers with spoilers that never came true on the show,) and hire new people who at least know the history behind the show and characters. (S)he will also find a way to keep Phick together and Shick from reuniting (if (s)he knows what good for Nick and Phyllis, and the show) and will also make Gloria get what is coming to her.

Yes....fire the rest of the writers and get back some of the old writers! I would start by bringing back Drucilla from the dead. They need to finally keep the invincible Sheila Carter dead. Get a new crazy chick, like remember back in the day when Ryan was married to crazy a** Tricia?...She would be a good villianess.
They need to give my boy Jack a break....make SharHo and Brad ride off into the sunset together. Hire back the previous actresses that played Victoria and Colleen. And instead of Devon being "around", Olivia and little or not so little Nate come back. We are all in agreement about GloHo getting what's coming to her, but what way....hmmmm, I'm going to have to think about that one.
And oh yeah that detective Maggie, they need to recast her with a different actress....Sheesh, I'm not a lesbian or Bi but she could be a little hotter.

Hopefully they bring up the question of baby summers paternity, let it finally be found out that the baby is really Jacks. After Sharon leaves Jack, I think the baby will reunite Jack and Phyllis together. Nick should turn to Sharon for comfort. Niki needs someone new in her life I don't think David and her have very much chemistry, and they should find a totally new love interest for Brad.
What ever happened to finding out the real reason that professor Korbel came to Genoa City, wasn't there some connection to Victor.
yes I like to See The Black widow Glo ho get what she deserves..............almost better to see her totally broke and begging for money, maybe she could get some serious deformity from using the face cream she tainted, lol. Heather definitely needs some kind of story line, they could show her and Paul starting to act like some kind of family,. I would love to see Christine come back as well,.

You know far more than I do about the firing and hiring of the writers. I am lucky to have a few minutes to watch all the soaps on fast forward. But having said all of that I don't think Sharon and Jack have any chemistry at all. I think Nick is a hunk although he doesn't get much play time and to be honest I think Phyllis and Jack have much more chemistry. Brad too has been put on the back burner and I think he is in need of a new girlfriend..I vote for Sharon..I don't see Sharon and Nick reuniteing...I didn't really see it when they were together..I think Nick needs someone new...period..end of story..It is about time Drucilla raised her ugly head again..especially if her daughter and the Aussie end up doing some type of photo shoot in France..interesting huh? I am really tired of Nicky and the mooch and Victor is growing old and tired and whinny to me..l want Victoria back so she and JT can have some type of life on screen..Dave let's us write this saga..don't they get it..for a while the show was doing so well and exciting...now it is dragging again...Linda

I don't know too much about the staffing issues but........
I hope Nick and Phylliss stay together, and that Summer is Nick's..I think Nick brings out the best in Phyllis! Sharon can be with Brad,,,,
Gloria needs to get busted and get what she deserves!
Victor need to get off of his power mad issues, and I am glad that Nicki is standing up for herself, but I don't quite trust David!

I don't really care who writes for the show, I just want them to stop dragging the stories out for so long. Y&R has done this for years and it's really old. As for the spoilers, I wish they'd just get rid of them all together. Why watch a show if you already know everything that's going to happen? Waste of time if you ask me. But keeping with the history of the show is a definite plus. Like on GL.. they had Daisy mysteriously become a virgin overnight when it was well known she was sleeping around.

I hope that Nick and Sharon, and Jack and Phylis get back together. Nikki needs a new man, and I'd love to see Ashley return to reunite with Victor.

I just hope they do something to these dry a s s storylines that take six months for them to resolve anything.
Sorry, I don't like Nick with Phyllis! I like him better with Sharon. Phyllis and Jack have more chemistry together than just sex and video games, like her and Nick.

Phyllis and Nick together are gross. Sharon needs to hook up with Brad or Victor. And GloHo needs to go to prison with Jana or take the money and run and never come back to GC!!
