What software you using to burn to your DVDs? There should be an option to "format" or "erase" the DVD. You may have the capability to simply right-click on the drive letter, if the DVD is inserted, and be given those options in the context menu.

HI. I am not 100% sure but the software program for DVD burning has an option to Erase the disc. You can try to erase data from that.

There's actually two answer here.

If you only want to erase the TOC (table of contents), which is the normal way to erase data and make it ready to accept new data, then most burning progams have a menu selection that says 'erase disk'.

If you really want to erase the data on the disk so no one can get at it, no matter what, then you need to either run it through a level 7 erase program, or burn it.

the final way is to have your dvd+rw interior the cd-rom tension and then click on "my laptop" once you are trying this locate your disk tension and double click on that it could open up and assist you work out whats on your dvd+rw disk bypass to the edit button on the record menu and click "elect all" after all the products on your dvd is chosen press the delete button or on the left hand component elect the "delete chosen products" button and this could erase whats on your dvd+rw!!!!!
