It has nothing to do with what he likes. It's what he thinks will be interesting and entertaining to the reader. If the character he's writing about (because a lot of time he writes from the characters point of view) is insecure about his 5 inch penis, then King will write about it.

dnringle I assure you he is not gay. I am from Maine live about 1/2 hr drive from his house. I went to school with him. Although he was ahead of me. He and Tabitha are alive and doing well. He is a writer, and so is Tabitha. Isn't every commercial, and thing you see today even on here about the mans penis? The length and thickness? It's crazy! Anyways they make BIG contributions to the Eastern Maine Medical Center. And more so the children's ward. They give freely to the Bangor parks, for ice rinks, swimming pools, things for the parks, and their upkeep and it's maintenance. His children use to go to my cousins house to play with her boys. They have grown and now teach or in college. I don't know about Stephen's children, but I'm sure we will hear from them in the future. Stephen does have a strangeness, but he and Tabitha make sure they keep Maine and it's people in the forefront, which is more then a lot of other famous ones. If you notice he writes about evil things, but in the end good generally wins out. Hope this has answered your question. He is not gay sorry! Have avery Merry Christmas, and Keep reading and watching his works. Stephen also.

Are you asking whether Stephen King is gay? I don't think he is gay; I think he's a writer. Writers are capable of writing things that they don't experience themselves. That makes them interesting and talented, not gay.
After being married to a straight man for several years (I'm a woman), I can tell you that heterosexual men definitely notice the size of other guys' penises if they happen to see them. Usually when they notice, they either feel superior to the other guy because theirs is bigger, or inferior because theirs is smaller. If a male character in a book notices that another guy has a small penis (and says that it's small at 5 inches, which is not small), this tells you a lot about the character: That he's insecure enough to compare himself to other men; that he feels good about himself in comparison to this guy; and that he's got a penis larger than 5 inches, which means he's probably fairly full of himself. This one little observation by the character tells you a lot about how the character sees himself and how he interacts with the people in his world. It doesn't mean he or the writer is gay. It does mean that the writer is being subtle and smart with his characterization - which, I must say, is something rarely seen from Stephen King IMO.
And anyway, who cares of Stephen King IS gay? Truman Capote was gay, and he was one of the greatest modern writers. Certainly a lot more talented than Stephen King, IMO.

Hm - of course I do not know Stephen King personally, so I really cannot say, but I would guess that he is not gay. His descriptions are just part of his elaborate writing techniques. Perhaps it is another way to deliver a different kind of shock to the reader by describing the specific things you mentioned. Or maybe it adds realism to the stories. Or all of the above.

I easily have merely examine a pair of Stephen King's books - yet getting around to it. yet there is an extremely great line between insanity and genius. Hitler. Tchaikovsky. Enoch Powell. John Lennon of the Beatles wrote a e book pronounced as 'Lennon in his own write'. First time I examine it, i concept it became into utter rubbish - the ramblings of a mad guy. 2 a protracted time later I examine it returned, and that i observed a diverse component to the e book. I observed a movie as quickly as pronounced as Village of The Damned approximately college young little ones with blond hair and blue eyes who began controlling adults. It nervous me for years through fact it became into so achieveable. (There are 2 movies under this call). yet writers hit the twine a protracted time in the past. which you will desire to sell now, they might desire to pass OTT.

He is an author. The more descriptive you are, the more vivid of a picture the reader can get in their head. The easier it is for them to see what's going on, the more likely they will get attached to the story.

And Bram Stoker was a vampire and Mary Shelly was a mad scientist. It is fiction - people write various things for various reason. Are you gay because you read these books??

I do not care one bit whether an author is gay or not, as long as I enjoy his/her works.
