If I had to pick just one, it have to be either "Paint it Black" or "It's All Over Now." Nice guitar work on those two songs. :)

Jumping Jack Flash.

It's their best. From an era when they were the best rock & roll band... (the Beatles weren't doing music well, but it wasn't rock & roll)... it brings back the era of face paint, of Mick moving on dark stages and total fan adoration... the music features the band at its best, and the bass drives the song... it's brash, the lyrics had never been done before... you could be a "back door man" etc. etc. and anything else in metaphor, but a singer saying they were "born in a crossfire hurricane, and howled at my mah in the driving rain..." was never done to a mass audience, really for another 25-30 years until Rap Artists started bragging (and only bragging)... it twists with Eastern music, like "Paint it Black" but it's much more slyly metaphoric... a drug reference? you'd think so, but infectious as its guitar riff.

"Paint It Black" is a great song, but far weaker musically... it's more of a straight-forward, simple song but with anti-everything, dark lyrics (origin of goth?) for sure... and "All Over Now" has that country-twangy thing going, when Mick was trying to SELL records in America too hard (like "Dead Flowers") by trying to touch upon all US music in the albums. In fact, I'd take "Under My Thumb" over that one, 9 out of 10x. We'd find out much later, that he's ALL about marketing & making money, and planning music based on how it would/might sell... which is why the Stones haven't been able to do anything worth a darn for 25 years (they're not as hip to do this anymore, since their 40's).
