I am curious about this for the couples that are very close to a separation and divorcing deal. If the wife is no longer happy and does not love the husband anymore, does she give the guys a very hard time for him to leave????????? Does she become an extreme "b" for the man to get out of her life and her kids???? Thanks guy for your honest answers.

yeah dude, thats the way it goes... I have experienced that with my girlfriends, not my wife... when wife gets like that, I just ask her, do you want me to leave? do you love me? cause I don't want us to waste time..... she usually tells me to shut up and then everything is fine...

I know you only asked guys; however, I am very good at reading into things. Some women act out because there is something missing in their relationship. Then, anger builds up and they become totally unreasonable and its hard to go back. If she really wanted out, she would most likely just tell him its over and time to move on. If she really loves him, she may find it difficult to tell him what is ailing her, and this is how she is responding.

Your friend may need to take some time with the wife and discuss their future.

i think that in most states, the law provides that the marital home is mutual, until such time you are divorced. so if you do split up, you will have to get together and decide who-lives-where.

everyone has a different personality, and we can't predict how your wife will act.. she may casually and calmly ask for a divorce, or give you a hard time.. it depends upon her state of mind.

I've seen this first hand. Its much easier to say that the guy left her then it is to say that she was the one that wanted it to end. That makes it much less painful for the guilty conscience.

Also, depending on the state and local laws... It could make a difference on compensation / support on WHO does the initial divorce filing.

I am in this exact position ,
my wife has decided to hate me .
she is a total B to me .
we are in councelling ,( she is determined not to change)
and I am hoping to
turn things around for the kids ,
but she can not even talk to me.
A few interesting things ;
I never cheated , never abused her ...
I have decided to try to ignore her but still do all my duties
and hope she comes down to reality , as I do not want to think about being without my kids.

I think it's a possibility that she would act that way to try to drive him away. My wife became lathargic and distant but wasn't angry or mean.
