How did he get past the Firewall? I think he used port 80 or 8080 not sure?

Ouch sounds nasty man with out knowing what firewall she was useing i cant say as not all firewalls work in the same way.
Some cover ports that other's dont cover some pick up things that other's wont detect... Port 80 is used for HTTP transfers and port 8080 is the port most commenly used for netcat... ohoh sounds like she might have been netcatted...
This is a backdoor allowing the person running the netcat server compleate and unrestricted access to your computer in effect they have the same privilages as the onwer of the computer...means they can download stuff onto your computer. E.G Illeagle stuff like child pornorgophery or acess sites like amazon and use your card 2 buy stuff..... or they could b stealing her identity.. It's impossible 2 protect your self against every attack out there just gotta tighten security and get a good firewall I recomend BlackIce... have been useing this program for years and it has nvr let me down..:-) :-)
no hassle the netcat trojan is quite old and quite easy 2 get rid of unfortunetly i cant rember off hand it's lodged some-where in the reg files cant rember where... You can also block port 8080 as it has no use for anything other then netcat.... i suggest she downloads Winpatrol and let that have a look unfortunetly you will need 2 purchise it if u want to use the profesional version.. SpywareTerminator is a good program as well it's free.

If he's a dedicated hacker there are ways around firewalls, especially the typical ones you buy in the store. Firewalls do a good job of blocking typical ports but if he really works at it he can get in using other ways.

Sorry but this guy is full of it. You don't hack using port 80 sorry...if she was hacked what did the "hacker" do? There are a lot of people, mainly kids, that brag about their hacking skills when in fact they have none. This is all generally a result of society being fearful of the Internet and things that have happened because of it.

Obviously her computer was not as locked down as she thought it was. Ports 80 and 8080 are open on webservers. She must have been wide open to attack.

you can get IP from Any Email
The main part is to use this IP and its not that simple usually people just boast around that they have hacked your computer and as a proof they give you ur address ip or even postal you can also get postal address of any ip from any site like (whoes ip is this.com)
