Okay my cat is retarted and feels like if something isn't going her way, she'll go pee or poop on the guest rooms bed. She knows very well how we'll feel about it later, she knows its bad, which means shes quite the evil one. I just have a question, how do you get the smell out? I'm desperate.

Go to a local pet store and buy "Nature's Miracle". It's a natural enzyme that will remove any orders from any surface. I've never had it fail me yet!

I just answered one simular to this, it was urine on the carpet, but for either this is the way. Go out to Walmart & buy the product "OUT" It will remove the smell. I purchased a spray bottle that has 24 oz. in it. I only used just a small amount for a corner spot on carpet. This bottle should be more than enough. Does the kitty keep going to the same spot? I hate it for you, as she seems to really be a EVIL kitty that might do better as a out side one. But the OUT product is really good. Over many years of having cats, this is the only thing I have found to work. No home remedies will get that smell out, you will be wasting your time. Try googleing it, and you will find out why the home remedies are no good.

Wow. Deja vu. Everyone's cats have clearly been busy recently - there is another very similar question that just came up!

There are a couple of really good enzyme-based products that we used to remove cat odors from fabrics in our house. The one I like best is called "Anti-Icky-Poo" - stupid name, I know, but a very very useful product.

You dilute it, and then spray it on the area. It doesn't mask the smell - it actually removes it. The bacteria in the product eat it or something. You don't need to keep cleaning spot. One (or perhaps two) applications should take care of things.

We've had a lot of success with it. I've put a link to their web site below, but we bought our stuff at a local pet shop.

Odaban and Fabreeze are great, but try borax, it comes in a box in the laundry isle. Sprinkle it on and vacuum it up, but my best suggestion: keep the cat out of the guestroom in the future/ or put a waterproof protector on the bed. They sell pretty ones that look like duvets.
