well for one if your thinkin of dropping out and getting your GED, in a few years honey you will have to have a highschool deploma to even work at burger king! so really your best bet is to stay in school and at least try! im pregnant and at the end of this semister i have to drop out because there no one to watch my baby when im in school untile next yr (which would be my JR year) ill be back in the 10th grade again. i wish i didnt have to but untile the baby is old enough to be in day care i ahve to watch it. i wish i didnt but its the only way. you really shuld stay in school and at least try

It would not necessarily ruin your life, but it would make it very difficult. Without an education, you run the risk of being stuck in a crappy dead-end job - and you really don't want that. There must be something you can do about failing, i.e. repeat the year. Don't give up on it. You're still very young, and you don't want to make a decision like this that will impact upon the rest of your life just yet.
And, the working world is tougher than school - I'd love to be still in school, honestly. You'll be working for so many years anyway - you should enjoy being young while you can. Good luck.

Of course this decision will ruin the rest of your life! A GED never looks as good as that diploma, and there are many things you can do to turn this around! Sure, you may be held back, but next year is a new start, and it's your chance to show your true colors and your commitment. Please don't drop out! Education is so important especially these days...it's very hard to find a great job without a college degree, and you can't get that without finishing high school. Good luck!

It will ruin your life, but do it any way. That way you can live out the trailer trash welfare life glorifed by your favorite soap opera stars. You can be the bad girl from the wrong side of the tracks that everyone hates, who seduces the town bad boy rich guy...only, in real life, such guys only date rich girls.,,because rich girls put out every bit as much as do poor girls, and rich girls do it better. So, do as you wish. Just don't say you weren't warned. When the only guy you can get is a career criminal who beats you as often as he sleeps with your sister, you may think back to the days when you had the chance to do better. As hard as it may seem, high school is the easiest thing you will ever do for the rest of your life. It only gets harder from there on. If you can't handle high school, you can't handle anything. Life gets harder from now on...whether you stay in school, or drop out, so you may as well stay in and get something worthwhile and thus have a chance for something better in the future.

You should do what ever you can to stay in the game... if that all fails get your GED that way you have some education... perhaps you could go to vocational school and be like a dentist aid or a nurse's aid... I'm sure they have a program that will interest you! that will make it a lot easier for you to be on your own! education is your best weapon when fighting the world! if you are determined not to fail then more power to you! i know you think you are failing now but your not! See if there is anyone you can talk to about staying in school if not that's OK! talk to your parents, school councilor, (any adult that you trust) about getting your GED! and then find something you are interested in and go to vocational school.. its not like collage (money wise) but you do get training for the real world!
Good Luck!

Well if you're dropping out because you're failing, first ask yourself "Why am I failing?". Could it be that you're having a hard time adjusting to high school? 9th grade would be you're first year of high school, right? If that's the case, just try and stick it out.
Or, get a tutor. Get a friend to help you out.
With most jobs, it does make a big deal if you have a high school diploma. So yes, it could make your life harder.
And too, it will build lots of character to try harder and overcome your obstacle, whatever it may be.

that you need to study harder, get a tutor, get support from counselors, friends, parents.. and work really hard!... I think you should go some place where they show u statiscally and by proof how people who dont complete at least high school are and can be living.. is sad but is life and reality. At the end is your decision, and ur parents..because depending where u live and ur age ..you have to be in school by law or ur parents will get in trouble. So do yourself a favor think really hard ur decisions.. talk to your couselor... do the 9th grade again.. go to a different school.. something whatever it helps and motivates you to stay in school. Good luck

do not drop out. it may be hard, but you need to keep trying. there are very few jobs out there that hire people that dont even have a high school diploma. if you plan on having a family in the future, they need you to have a good education to have a good job that would support them.

yes it will ruin the rest of you life. No one will take you seriously if you dont graduate.
I mean you can always get your GED later but it will be a million times harder and it doesnt getas much respect as a diploma
It will be in your best interest to stay cause it will be so much harder if you dont

Try and find out why you are failing, an education can be a great advantage. Its important that you show motivation to learn, without that your life will never evolve out of ignorance.
