No you shouldnt of bought a Zune. What are these people talking about. Anyone who owns a touch will agree with me on this, its the most slickest sexiest and most desirable mp3 player in the world at the moment ok apart from the iphone.

iPod Touches are great...they're more like a mini computer then an iPod. WiFi, web applications, 3rd party apps and games (after you've jailbroken it), it really is great.
Every setting on the iPod Touch is adjustable...from the brightness of the screen to whether you view your movies in widescreen or fullscreen. There was a lot of work that when into the development of this product.
You've probably seen some of the commercials for the iPhone...well...think of the iPod Touch as an iPhone, minus the camera and phone. iPod Touches get great WiFi internet, which works pretty fast depending on how far or how close you are to the wireless router. It's also got great sound quality. I have a couple iHome products too, and it works very well with them. It's a great little machine.

I've heard...mixed reviews. Mostly that it's a scaled-down iPhone that's missing a lot of features. I've also heard a fair number of not-so-great things about screen quality on the device. A number of complaints exist that the screen is too bright and doesn't look as good as the iPhone. And I've heard the battery life isn't great.
But...it's still got Wi-Fi, a touch screen and the "cool" factor. I have friends that update blogs/social sites with their iPod touch, and they're very happy about it.
I personally wouldn't trade my iPhone for an iPod touch for any reason. Then again, I paid more for it, but it is very, very much worth it.
If you check out the link I provided and search "iPod touch screen", I think you'll see several articles on the issue with the screen that the iPod touch has been having.

i have a touch and its awesome! My nano and video are like crap compared to my touch
it never hangs unlike the video, its clarity is amazing and the photos are crystal clear.
the only drawback i have discovered in month of usage is you cant change music easily while sleeping as it changes to cover flow......
and i forgot the battery life is amazing
i have the 8GB one
btw its much better than the zune, my sis has it and she regrets buying it,
and the guy above said sumthin about the screen brightness, it has an auto brightness detecter like the nokia n series it changes brightness according to the environment
