Yes I have. Except on the porch and in the garage where it is cold. And not on the dimmer circuits. They work great and save money. I buy them when the company is offering a rebate or a two for one deal.

Mostly yes except for a few fixtures that use special bulbs and some on dimmers. The lights in my unheated garage are still incandecent because I haven't found a flourescent fixture that works well when it gets real cold.

I've changed many of our bulbs over but, while most are still working fine, some haven't lasted as long as they should have and I hate to "invest" in over priced light bulbs when I'm not going to get the return on them.

Waiting for my olb bulbs to stop working. I have no problem switching over just hate to waste the ones i have now. They're suppose to last longer and reduce energy costs and usage but they do cost more to buy. I think they're worth it in the long run.

I switched, I was initally suprised by how much they cost, but they have lasted almost an entire year. The only place I don't use them is where I use my dimmer, because the florecent light just flickers then. I love them.

when an old bulb burns out, I replace it with flourescent. I'm not throwing out a bulb that still works.

not enough saving in operating cost to justify the higher cost and potential mercury danger. i like threeway bulbs. i can burn a 100watt incn. bulb for 10 hours for 10 cents. the equivalent 40 watt cf bulb costs 4 cents. for 10 hours use a saving of 6 cents.

Yup. I figure that even if they don't last as long as promised, the lower energy use will cover the extra expense of the bulbs.
That being said, only one of about a dozen has stopped working within the last two years.

I use the new green (?) bulbs in the kitchen, computer room, and the like. I use the incandescent bulb in lamps I read by. I don't know why, but it feels better for my eyes.

Yes we have, even the outside lights. We did forget 2 closet lights but we will eventually get them. I hope the cost does go down. I also put them in my detached garage.
