Unless you are in debt up to your ears and that bonus check is going to save the house from being foreclosed, you can call him from the store as you are buying those shoes.

If you can't tell your husband that you got a bonus check for Christmas from your boss and still keep it to do with as you please you either have trust issues or bills that need serious attention that you don't want to face. Do the right thing and tell your hubby.

what does your husband do when he gets his check? since you are in a comitted relationship you must have some kind of agreement about excess money. deceiving leads to seperation of the combined unity that you two have formed and although this may seem like a small matter, arguments over money is the #1 reason for dissolution of marriage. good luck

Do what you would want HIM to do in your situation. If my husband got a bonus and didn't tell me, I'd be a little hurt...but if he did tell me I would be happy for him and yes, I would think of it as his, completely...but I would hope he'd buy me a little treat too!
