No, there is no 2 year teaching program. You can get a CDA in two years (Child Development Associate Degree) but this will only help you get a job as a teacher's aide or in a day care center.

There is NO money in teaching. If you need to work and make money to live on, I would highly recommend nursing. I think you can get an LVN in 2 years.

I don't know about many states but logically, I'm going to say no. They are making regulations for educators more and more difficult and most states require a four year degree to teach elementary school.

Nursing, though, is a two year program in Ohio so check out some local colleges to see what they offer.

There are no states that would grant you a teaching credential on a two year program. You could work as an LVN in most if not all states.

Before you start to become an elementary school teacher, learn to spell "elementary" and "span".

Sorry but there are no 2 yr teacher programs for the US schools.

You can get a CDA to teach at a preschool/headstart in two years and you can get an LPN to be a nurse in two years or less. you might want to call around your area to get information on either of those programs.

I guess it depends on where you live and how desperate they are for teachers. In Canada you need a degree and then an additional year of professional training (5 years total)
