I hope so. I read it. It is a very wonderful fantasy story.
Rand and the gang. It would make plenty of money for whoever puts it together.

I doubt it. I have read all of the books, too (a couple of times, actually - I don't dislike them) but I think the story is too scattered and diffused to ever be made into visual media. (I think a miniseries would be more likely than a series of movies.) The story just spreads itself too thin, and it feels like it. In a series that has hundreds of characters, it's hard for a writer to keep things concise, related, and tightly written. Not many can pull it off. Robert Jordan was a good writer, but I don't think that he's so good that anybody will ever want to immortalize his work on the screen.
Usually the only fantasy stories that make it to the screen are tight, with all subplots closely and obviously related and with lots and lots of action and less "filler." Wheel of Time doesn't fit that description, IMO.

properly, besides the reality that a action picture has already been made from it, i might like to confirm '1984' (by George Orwell) made right into a action picture a 2nd time around. the 1st action picture left me feeling incredibly disappointed (the appearing became stunning, yet there became some thing lacking...), so i might like to confirm yet another filmmaker's interpretation of the e book, and their casting, and so on. I additionally basically finished analyzing 'Daddy's female', by Janet Inglis. i think of that could additionally make for a incredibly exciting action picture. it is predicated around a fifteeen-12 months-previous female who finally ends up having an affair together with her mom's boyfriend. i assume i hit upon it incredibly exciting psychologically, simply by fact the lady develops this bond and love for this thoroughly forbidden lover, and how they have interaction, the way he acts in the direction of her. Bleh, i don't understand. =P

I don't know if I'd want a movie. It could be nice, but it could also be horrible. I'm just hoping the last book comes out problem free. He's dead now but before he died he told the finishing of the series and it was recorded. I guess someone in his family will end up writing it.

It seems unlikely, just on the sheer scale of it. It would have to be a mini-series if anything, and still more series than mini. I think that, even compressing and eliminating subplots, it would be a minimum of 15 hours to put it on screen, and even that would be pushing it.

Eventually- though it will have to be highly edited to get everything on the screen.
