Post it, then blow yourself up? Hell, I don't know. You must realize that in today's society you are one speck among SIX BILLION specs.
You could post something on the most popular web site in the world, and it would probably be buried in other postings in minutes.
You must also realize that even the most widely read website doesn't get more than a tiny fraction of the world seeing it. Case in point: The Drudge Report. Over ten million hits a day, but HE posts content. What about MSN.com, which is the default home page of everyone running windows? They control the content.
Start your own site? No one is guaranteed to view it, or even hear about it. The "IT" time on the web is often measured in hours. You could be the toast of the town one day, and completely forgotten the next.
If I were you, I'd concentrate on something deeper and more fulfilling than a quixotic idea.

There is no one place that everyone will look because different people have different interests, different human languages, etc.
Your best bet is to study SEO = Search Engine Optimization, which is the art of getting your web site high prominence by Search Engines ... you ever notice when you do a search that it says it found 100,000 sites matching your criteria? Well if your site is one of those 100,000, you want to be near the top of the list, not near the bottom. You accomplish that by learning how SEO works.

So just post what you can. If it's appropriate, it will stay. If it's deemed inappropriate, it will be removed by the responsible people.
