what is your favorite charity or a good deed done for people?

mine is salvation army
and I enjoy spending time at our local food shelter, to help fed the needy

I just donated cat supplies to my local animal shelter in memory of my 12 year old cat that died in August and my 16 year old cat that died two weeks ago.
