I want the new LG Viewty but wondered if anyone knew of any problems with them before I asked for the upgrade???

If you are considering an LG Viewty why would people suggest an iPhone as an alternative? The iPhone has a terrible camera, no MMS (picture messaging), can't install third party applications, can't even forward a text message, it's not 3G (or even 3.5G like the Viewty). Yes touch screens aren't ideal to text on but it's something you will adjust to when you get it.

Please do not get this phone ..it is awful ....a real pain to use anything on it .I have just upgraded and sold it Have gone back to a samsung d900i does everything on the can ...I went into o2 shop the other day and If I had the money I would go for the i Phone ..was miles and miles above viewty..

i like that phone.but i was told it's not very good for texting on the touch screen

Go for an iphone but get one unlocked and lot slicker and sexier.
