How is this a freudian slip (if it even happened)?

He has made many Freudian slips. The only reason he signed the bill you are referring to is that elections are coming up. While he is not running there are people in his party who have been hurt by just having the R beside their name due to him and his decisions and actions. He is trying to redeem himself in the last year or so in office to help the GOPers possibly win elections. After election day there won't be much time left and he will stagnate just waiting for January 20, 2009.

I recognize that people make mistakes when they speak but let's face it, Mr. Bush has made more than his share of 'Freudian slips". He can hardly put together a coherent sentence.

Depends on how fast fuel efficiency is going right now. If it is going 25 mph, that is an improvement. lol
